About Me
Hello, my name is Sherina. It can be really difficult to write about yourself, but here is what I think you should know about me: I am passionate about all things Jesus; my world revolves around Him. There is something so special about being in His presence and allowing Him to speak to your heart; there is nothing like it.
I love being with my family and friends or doing something special for those I love and care about. Decorating is a hobby of mine; I love to help people and places be seen for all the beauty they have and whatever highlights their beauty.
I know that I don’t have all the answers, but I do know who does, and He has gifted me with many extraordinary gifts to bring people together. Together for the purpose of learning and growing in Jesus. Reminding them that they have a Father who passionately pursues them and wants to be pursued by them!
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:8-9
Life Verse
Family
My husband and I have been married since I graduated high school in 2003. He is my high school sweetheart, and I could not do life without him.
Being married to the wrong person can make life difficult, but being married to the right one can make life filled with joy, love, and the opportunity to be healed. The love my husband and I share has really helped me understand just how much the Father loves me. (Especially when I don’t make it easy to be loved.)
One of the most amazing things that has come out of our marriage has to be our five beautiful children, whom I have had the honor of homeschooling for the past 8 years. As they transition into their new venture of going to school, God is opening new adventures for me at home.
They are a big part of my day-to-day, which can be so much fun and so stressful, but that keeps me closer to Jesus. I pray that I can be the mother and wife they deserve from an overflow of God’s love, mercy, and grace, rather than from my own brokenness.
Friends
I love the community of Friends/Family that God has blessed me with; as iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens another. That is what my community does as we live side by side, leaning on one another. From childhood friends to newly met. Everyone God has brought into my life, I am so thankful for!
